Welcome to 2nd Annual Mobile Backhaul India 2012
We are happy to present India's exclusive mega business convention on mobile backhaul networks into 2nd consecutive successful year - 2nd Mobile Backhaul India 2012 scheduled to be held on 19th July 2012 at Le Meridien - New Delhi.Mobile Backhaul is one of the most pressing issues facing mobile network operators in India. The Long Term Evolution (LTE) is expected to claim the lion's share of wireless infrastructure capital spending next year, when mobile carriers are going to migrate to that next-generation standard. Massive growth in data traffic driven by smartphone adoption and usage, coupled with more spectrally efficient air interfaces such as HSPA+3G or LTE, will be adding increased pressure on backhaul requirements.
An industry report suggests that mobile operators globally will have to shell out nearly $840 bn over the next 5 years to upgrade backhaul networks to address data deluge. The report stressed that when existing backhaul infrastructure is incapable of supporting growth in consumption, radio network upgrades are not enough and it has to be augmented and operators ought to simultaneously manage the upgrade of their backhaul networks. The report said that in India alone, microwave would account for 87% of capacity in 5 years.
Mobile Backhaul India 2012 conference will focus on mobile operators strategies on how they can upgrade their backhaul networks and make the backhaul more "intelligent" in order to cope with the explosive growth of mobile data traffic generated by next generation mobile broadband and the increased usage of smartphones & tablet pc's for multimedia services and applications such as online video streaming, online gaming, music downloads, photo sharing etc.
The conference will bring together leading telecom professionals to discuss the latest technology solutions and business strategies to cost-effectively optimize the backhaul and expand network capacity. This conference will also address the operators, technology providers and analyst's key challenges for next generation mobile backhaul and share solutions to deal with the mobile capacity crunch while managing profitability.
